    New Lakeside Cabins Open North Shore at Lake Shelby

    Gulf State Park has unveiled 20 new lakeside cabins after a major renovation project. The $8.8 million project replaced 17 damaged cabins with modern accommodations on the north shore of Lake Shelby.

    Since buying new lights for the Gulf Shores Sportsplex, the city has found the electrical infrastructure for just the football stadium will have to be upgraded. The city council will meet in a work session on April 15 at city hall in council chambers at 4 p.m.
    Foley City Council to Discuss $7.9M Road Bid at Monday Meeting

    The Foley City Council will receive a report on bids let by the city in March including the bid for improvements to the intersection of County Road 12 and the Foley Beach Express to Mobile Asphalt Co. for $7.9 million. The council will meet in a joint work/regular session on April 15 at 4 p.m. in council chambers at city hall.
