Daphne couple with baby arrested for car break ins | WPMI

DAPHNE, Ala. (WPMI) — Two people are facing charges tonight in Daphne for allegedly stealing people’s property from their parked vehicles.

It was at Arbors By The Bay apartments where officers finally caught up with couple early this morning. It was two o’clock in the morning when police got a call from a resident saying a man was going from car door to car door in the parking lot. That’s when a foot chase got underway.

Reporter Arrested After DUI Crash Involving Police Officer

January 22, 2017

A news reporter has been arrested for an alcohol-related crash that injured a Pensacola Police Officer. According to an arrest report, William Isern, a reporter with the Pensacola News Journal, is charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI.

The crash happened January 7, near the intersection of Cervantes and Baylen Streets. Isern was arrested Thursday night.

Repair estimate led to alleged stalker’s obsession with mechanic | AL.com

A customer and an employee at Freeman’s Collision Center in Foley stared up at four large cracks streaking down from the top of the brick walled building, framed above two steel sliding garage doors, around noon on Friday.

The employee who did not want to be identified, said just 24 hours ago a scene from a Lifetime movie played out in the bay area of the collision center. The Foley Police Department said that 56-year-old Susan Kotkiewicz tried to run a male employee at the business over with her car.

A 56-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into a business where she was stalking and attempting to run over an employee around mid day on Thursday in Foley.

The Foley Police Department is reporting that Susan Kotkiewicz, 56, was parked in the parking lot of a State Farm on Cypress Street at approximately 12:45 p.m. before driving her vehicle into Freeman Collision located at 225 East Laurel Avenue.

Two charged with killing cows in target practice in Robertsdale | WPMI

January 19, 2017

Baldwin County Sheriff’s investigators want all gun owners to obey target practice rules outside the city limits.

This after two people target practicing last Saturday killed a number of cows just outside Robertsdale. Investigators say the suspects were extremely careless. It’s believed 200 rounds of ammunition were sent out across an open field.

Wells Fargo bank robbery suspect turns himself in, bond set at $25K | AL.com

Authorities in Baldwin County are reporting that James Daniel Bain, 27, who was wanted for robbing a Wells Fargo bank in Daphne on Saturday turned himself in Tuesday night.

Bain was identified by residents in the area on Monday and the Daphne Police Department released his photo and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Foley Middle and High School teens arrested for graffiti, golf cart theft | AL.com

January 11, 2017

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three teenagers in connection with a graffiti case in the Sweet Gum Village subdivision in December of 2016.

BCSO Spokesman Anthony Lowry confirmed the report saying that on Monday they received information that connected two 14-year-old and one 15-year-old Foley High School and Foley Middle School students to the crime.

Car Drives Off the Causeway into Mobile Bay

January 04, 2017

An off-duty firefighter with Mobile Fire-Rescue helped a driver who drove his car into Mobile Bay on Tuesday afternoon.

Spanish Fort Police say the driver was traveling at a high-rate of speed on the Causeway (U.S. Highway 98) when he drove off the roadway and into the bay, partially submerging the vehicle.   The car narrowly missed a fisherman and his two children.

Man suspected of arson at a duplex in Gulf Shores | AL.com

The Gulf Shores Police Department has arrested George Tucker Grau in connection with a house fire in Gulf Shores on December 22.

The Gulf Shores PD and the Gulf Shores Fire Department responded to the location at 128 West Lagoon Drive when reports of a fire were called in. Fire officials were able to extinguish the flames once they arrived. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Eastern Shore Mom Arrested For Hosting Teen Drinking Party

A mother in Spanish Fort has been arrested after police say she hosted a house party with multiple teenagers drinking.

Police arrested Rebecca Lott Tuesday after receiving a noise complaint early that morning about a house party in the Timbercreek subdivision.

Officers found about 20 teens there, some as young as 14 and several drinks and beer cans around the house.

Baldwin County officials look into illegal dump sites – FOX10 News | WALA

BAY MINETTE, AL (WALA) - There have been some reports of illegal dump sites in Baldwin County and right now officials are trying to find out who’s responsible.

It’s rare to find illegal dump sites in Baldwin County that can’t be cleaned up quickly.

“Usually they’re household goods; coaches and such, and those are fairly easy for us to clean up,” County Commissioner Chris Elliott said.

But according to Elliott, social media postings show recent dumping activity that’s excessive and unusual.

Baldwin County pursues illegal dumping in Central Baldwin | Baldwin Times

County officials are looking into illegal dumping involving several dozen bundles of newspapers, after a Baldwin County resident found them dumped off the right-of-way along Old Brady Road.

Summerdale resident Tommy Pate said he found the bundles weeks ago and has been attempting to contact the Mobile Press Register to try to get them cleaned up.

“Some of them still are wrapped in plastic,” Pate said. “It’s just not right that someone is dumping all of this trash out here like that.”

Multi-State Identity Theft Ring Ends in Baldwin County

When the blue lights go on and a vehicle is pulled over, officers never know what they will find.

In the case of Baldwin County Sheriff’s deputies Jason Kolbe and Ryan Delmore, they were looking for a specific vehicle traveling east on Interstate 10. That traffic stop led to the arrest of two suspects and the end of a multi-state identity theft ring.
