Turquoise Place Expands with New Family-Friendly Features

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Turquoise Place in Orange Beach recently celebrated the grand opening of its new amenities deck at the beachfront condominium resort. This deck introduces various features aimed at enhancing guest experiences.


Among the highlights is a 300-foot water slide that starts from the top of a new parking deck and spirals down to the C Tower pool. For children, a rooftop splash pad has been installed.


The deck also caters to guests interested in leisure activities with a new putting green, perfect for those looking to improve their golf skills while enjoying a birds-eye-view of the Gulf of Mexico. Additionally, an outdoor amphitheater will host live entertainment and movie screenings.


Turquoise Place plans to introduce car charging stations soon.


Candace Burgin, the Association Director at Turquoise Place, expressed enthusiasm about the new amenities, believing they will provide guests with new experiences.

The forecast predicts widespread rainfall amounts ranging from 3 to 5 inches across the region, with the possibility of localized totals exceeding 6 inches, especially in the circled area.

While average sales prices increased in both the Traditional Residential and Resort/Island-based areas, closed sales decreased in both areas compared to April 2023.
Gulf Shores High School Soccer #1 in State

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – The Gulf Shores High School boy's soccer team made history on Saturday, winning their first-ever state championship with a 5-0 victory over Elmore County in the AHSAA 5A finals. The Dolphins, led by head coach Danny Norton, capped off an impressive 23-6 season with the dominant performance at the John Hunt Soccer Complex in Huntsville.

Orange Beach firefighters’ quick response to a golf cart engulfed in flames at Ave Pub prevented the fire from spreading to a second cart parked in the next parking space. Upon arrival, the fire crew found the cart fully engulfed in flames.
Beachside S'mores Bash Returns to Gulf Shores May 23rd

This event promises an evening of campfires, music, and free s’mores. Attendees can enjoy activities such as face painting and balloon artistry while relaxing on the public beach. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the festivities.
