October 25, 2019 – Orange Beach, AL – (OBA®) – Take a leisurely cruise to see the Blue Angels Homecoming Show on Nov. 9 onboard the Cruise OB’s new boat, Fintastic.

Owner Scooter Fredrickson said he is taking reservations for up to 40 people even though on dolphin cruises he can accommodate almost 80 passengers.

The Blue Angels will perform over Pensacola Beach on Nov. 8-9 in their homecoming show.“We’re going to stop at 40 paying passengers that way it’s not going to be uncomfortable for anybody,” Fredrickson said. “I’m not going to be greedy.”

He has done the cruises in the past but this year he’s doing it a little bit different.

We’ve done ‘em for years on the old boat. We never promoted it. It was kind of for friends and family. We would maybe take a few paying passengers just to cover the cost of going. But it was mainly friends and family.

The cost is $75 per person and includes water, Gatorade and some snack foods. Passengers can bring anything they want to eat or drink during the day onboard with them.

Cruise Orange Beach Dolphin Cruises will have a Blue Angel trip on Nov. 9.“We’ll be at Sand Island and we’ll also let people swim and stuff while we’re there,” Fredrickson said. “They need to bring swim clothes and towels and things like that. They are usually pretty fun. We’re going to be right next to the beach so people will be able to swim right over to the beach.”

The cruise will leave Pleasure Island Tiki Bar at 9 a.m. and hopes to return to the dock about 3-3:30 p.m.

“That all depends on late the Blues and when they get started because you have all the preliminary shows,” Fredrickson said.
