Several restaurants in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama will be open on Thanksgiving.

November 12, 2019 – Orange Beach, AL – (OBA®) – If you don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen cooking and cleaning this Thanksgiving, you’re in luck.

Several restaurants are opening on the day with most of those providing traditional fare in addition to serving their full regular menu as well. Others will be open but serving just the regular menu.

The Flora-Bama Lounge, Oyster Bar and Package Store will have its annual potluck buffet and provide the ham and turkey. Bring a covered dish and eat for free or pay just $3 to enjoy the buffet.

Live Bait will have a buffet from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. $21.95 for adults, $10 for kids. Remember the front of the restaurant is closed for renovations but the club in the back will remain open and serving a full menu.

Wolf Bay Lodge Foley will have a buffet from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., $30 for adults and $14 for kids 4-12, 3 and under free. Entrees include turkey and gravy, prime rib, ham and a selection of vegetables and desserts.

Cobalt will serve from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., $30 for adults, $15 for kids 12 and under, $7.50 for 5 and under. Entrees included roasted and fried turkey, ham, prime rib, BBQ pork loin and shrimp gravy with grits and a selection of vegetables and 12 desserts to choose from. Call 251-923-5300 for reservations.

Luna’s Eat & Drink will two buffet locations, one in the restaurant and one in Magnolia Hall from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with the last seating at 3:30 p.m. Luna’s will have turkey, ham and fried chicken entrees with a selection of vegetables and desserts from sister restaurant BuzzCatz. GT’s on the Bay will serve from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with the last seating at 3:30 p.m. Choose from turkey and gravy, ham, glazed salmon or shrimp-n-grits with a selection of sides. Adults are $28, 12 and under $14 and 5 and under $7. Call 251-980-8400 for reservations.

Perdido Beach Resort will have two buffets, one in the Grand Ballroom and one in Voyagers. Entrees include smoked turkey, shrimp and clam pasta, beef short rib and blackened mahi, a carving station with stuffed ribeye, and smoked pork with a selection of vegetables and desserts. In the ballroom prices are $35 for adults, $12.50 for kids 5-12. In Voyagers, the price is $45 for adults and $22.50 for kids 5-12. For reservations call 251-981-9811.

Doc’s Seafood Shack on Canal Road and Doc’s Seafood and Steaks on beach road will have a Thanksgiving menu with turkey and dressing with a selection of sides and dessert to choose from for $17.99. The regular menu will also be available at both locations.

Hazel’s Nook will have a buffet from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with turkey and dressing, chicken and dumplings or fried chicken with a selection of sides and cobbler and ice cream for dessert.

Bubba’s Seafood House will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal and its regular menu will also be available.

The Hangout will have a buffet featuring traditional Thanksgiving dishes including fried and roast turkey, prime rib and ham and a selection of vegetables and desserts. Prices are $29.99 for adults, $14 for kids 5 and 5 and under eat free. Reserve your tickets on the Hangout’s Facebook events page.

The Sunliner Diner and Picnic Beach, just north of the Beach in Gulf Shores and The Gulf at Perdido Pass in Orange Beach, two Hangout Hospitality restaurants will be open for regular hours and serving their regular menus.

The Perdido Key Sports Bar will be open its regular hours on Thanksgiving, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and serving its regular menu items.

Fin & Fork will be offering traditional turkey with cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce all prepared by Chef Matt Shipp. Some items on the regular menu will also be available.

The Flying Harpoon 2 on beach road in west Orange Beach and the Flying Harpoon in Gulf Shores on Windmill Ridge Road will be open regular hours and serving from there regular menu.

The Meat Mart in Orange Beach is offering a classic turkey for $3.99 a pound, spiral hams whole or half for $6.99 a pound and a Cajun specialty turdekens for $69 each. Also available are a variety of casseroles for side dishes. Orders taken until Nov. 21 Call 251-981-6328 to place an order.

Moe’s Original Bar B Que BBQ in Orange Beach is selling turkeys or ham for $50 with a pan of sides for $16 or $30. Moe’s will also smoke your turkey for you for $20. Call 251-981-7427.

Rouses Market in both Orange Beach and Gulf Shores are offering a full Thanksgiving meal starting at $59.99. Chose from Cajun or roast turkey, spiral ham and a variety of vegetables and desserts.

RAISE A GLASS TO THE HOLIDAY

Island Time Daiquiri Bar at The Wharf will not be serving food on Thanksgiving but the bar will open at 2 p.m.

Sandshaker at The Wharf will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day with karaoke with Kelly starting at 8 p.m. Games will be on the big screen. On Saturday they’ll be cooking on the dock overlooking the marina for the Iron Bowl.
