January 18, 2020 - Orange Beach, AL - (OBA®) - The Orange Beach Public Library is hosting its Winter Lecture Series each Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Senior Center. The series runs through February.

The lectures are as follows:

  • January 23rd - Southern Rider: Join Elisabeth La Beaud on at 6 p.m. on January 23rd for her lecture on the Freedom Summer.
  • January 30th - Join author Frank Kelso at 6 p.m. January 30th as he speaks about his new Western.
  • February 6th - Civil War Lecture: Join Paul Brueske at 6 p.m. February 6th as he speaks on the Battle of Mobile.
  • February 13th - Join Erin Hussey for a night of Dulcimer music at 6 p.m. February 13th.
  • February 23rd - Jazz Lecture: Join Daphne Simpkins at 6 p.m. February 23rd for her lecture the music of Nate King Cole.
  • February 27th - Instant Pot 101: Did you get an Instant Pot for the Holidays? Come see all the recipes this gadget can make at 6 p.m. February 27th.
