Fat Albert on the way to Fort Worth

(OBA®) - The Fat Albert C-130 pilots and crew left Cambridge England this morning and they have refueled in Iceland. Fat Albert is now headed west for their transatlantic flight back to the United States with the new “J” model.
Upon return to the U.S., the crew will complete scheduled maintenance at JRB NAS Fort Worth, before returning to Pensacola, Florida!

We will keep our ears open and give a heads up when the Fat Albert crew will be returning to NAS Pensacola. Hopefully they'll buzz the Orange Beach Area beaches on their way home.

Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – The City of Foley is asking residents to be patient as spring-cleaning and yard work increase the need for limb collection services, according to the City of Foley website.
The Foley Sanitation Department collects tree limbs weekly from homes across the city. However, officials said temporary high demand may delay collections on some routes by about one day.

Perdido Key, Ala. – (OBA) – The Perdido Key Area Chamber Foundation and Gulf Islands National Seashore will host the annual Private Rosamond Johnson Memorial Ceremony at Johnson Beach in Perdido Key.
The event honors Private Rosamond Johnson Jr. and celebrates the rich cultural history of the area, according to the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce.
