Flora-Bama to Host Annual Boozy Bee Spelling Competition on March 9

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The iconic Flora-Bama Lounge & Package is gearing up for one of its most unique and entertaining events of the year—the annual Boozy Bee! This fun-filled spelling bee with a twist will take place on Sunday, March 9 from 5 to 6pm, in the Dome at the legendary bar and music venue.


Unlike traditional spelling bees, the Boozy Bee combines intellectual prowess with liquid courage. Ten lucky contestants will be randomly selected on the day of the event to compete in five rounds of spirited spelling challenges. The last speller standing will walk away as the Boozy Bee champion!


The event is open to the public, but only those 21 and older are eligible to participate. Whether you're competing or just there to cheer on the contestants, this lighthearted and lively showdown promises plenty of laughs and unforgettable moments.

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Orange Beach Festival of Art returns for its 51st year on March 8-9, 2025, transforming the Coastal Arts Center grounds at Waterfront Park into a vibrant hub of creativity. This beloved annual festival – always held the second weekend of March – has become a cornerstone of the Gulf Coast art scene, renowned for showcasing a rich blend of visual, performing, musical, literary, and even culinary arts. Thousands of visitors are expected to stroll through rows of white-tented booths, where artists display paintings, pottery, jewelry, and more against the backdrop of Wolf Bay. Gulf Shores Paid Beach Parking Resumes Today
