Hank Williams Jr. Bringing Country Swagger to The Wharf Amphitheater with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Orange Beach, AL – Country music fans, get ready! Hank Williams Jr. is heading back to The Wharf Amphitheater for another night of Southern rock and honky-tonk anthems. As part of the C Spire Concert Series, the legendary performer will be joined by special guests, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, promising a show packed with country classics and foot-stomping energy.


Hank Jr. last rocked the Orange Beach stage in 2022, delivering a high-energy performance that had fans singing along to hits like "A Country Boy Can Survive," "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound," and "Family Tradition." Now, he's set to do it all over again on Saturday, June 7th.


Joining him for this night of country music, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will bring their signature blend of folk, rock, and country to the Gulf Coast, playing favorites like "Fishin’ in the Dark" and "Mr. Bojangles."


Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, March 14th at 10am local time, and are expected to sell quickly. Fans can purchase tickets through Live Nation or The Wharf Amphitheater’s official website.

Gulf Shores 2025 Lifeguards

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – After completing the 2025 Spring United States Lifesaving Association (USLA) Academy, Gulf Shores Beach Rescue Lifeguards went back on official duty this past weekend. During the off-season, lifeguards underwent rigorous training both in the classroom and in the water. New recruits completed an intensive 48-hour USLA training course, while returning lifeguards refreshed their skills with a 16-hour refresher course—all while training in the Gulf and local pools.
Flora-Bama Hosts 12th Annual Beach Run for Warriors

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Flora-Bama is set to host its 12th Annual Beach Run/Walk for America's Warriors, featuring both a half-marathon and a 5K run/walk. The racecourses stretch entirely across the white sandy beaches along the Gulf, with half-marathon participants heading east into Florida and 5K participants running west into Alabama. Both races will start and finish at the Flora-Bama Lounge.
