OBA Accident Alert: There was a 5 car accident on Perdido Beach Blvd. that was caused by a head on collision. It has traffic blocked in both directions. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims.

Sept. 1, 2016 - Gulf Shores, AL (GSA) - The City of Gulf Shores is moving forward with plans to transform Gulf Place, the city's most iconic stretch of beachfront and main public beach area. The $15 million Gulf Place Revitalization Project is a linchpin objective of the Small Town, Big Beach Vision 2025 for Sustainability and the result of years of master planning and public input.
The project will be completed in phases over the next few years and will employ sustainable, low impact designs to provide a more welcoming, accessible, pedestrian and bike-friendly environment for residents and visitors to enjoy.

August 24, 2016 - Orange Beach, AL (OBA) - The City of Orange Beach will be accepting donation through Friday, August 26th. Beginning Saturday, August 27th, donations intended for Orange Beach City Hall should be taken to the Christian Life Church parking lot located at 25550 Canal Road, Orange Beach, AL. Donations are to be placed in the box truck located in the parking lot.
In addition, there is a drop off location at The Wharf across from the Daiquiri Bar that will be accepting donations through Friday morning.
The Gulf Shores Fire Dept. will be accepting donations of bottled water, cleaning supplies any toiletries at Fire Station 1 until they leave Friday morning to make the delivery.
