Escambia County Sheriff's Office seeks suspect in domestic homicide

Escambia County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for 36-year-old Darryl Jerome Walker, born on March 15, 1987, in connection with a domestic homicide incident. The incident occurred on November 22nd, around 5:30 a.m., in the 12000th block of Meadson Road (map). Deputies, upon responding to a reported shooting, discovered a 35-year-old female with a fatal gunshot wound.
Investigations suggest that Walker, the victim's husband, is the alleged perpetrator of the shooting. Following the incident, he reportedly fled the scene in a black 2020 Hyundai Veloster, bearing the Florida license plate BG10PN. Walker is currently wanted on homicide charges and is considered armed and dangerous.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office urges anyone with information regarding Walker's whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers at 850-433-STOP or the ECSO at 850-436-9620.
