Elberta, Ala. – (OBA) – In an effort to support those who have spent their lives in service to others, the Firefighter Cancer Support Network is hosting a community fundraiser initiative in the form of a Golf Tournament. The tournament, scheduled for April 6, 2024, will be held at The Preserve on Soldier's Creek in Elberta, promising participants a blend of competition and camaraderie, all in the spirit of philanthropy.
There will be a Shotgun start at 8:30 A.M., with various engaging activities throughout the day, such as a putting contest and the chance to win a grand prize of $2,500. Additionally, four lucky drawn players will have the opportunity to roll the dice to spell "C.A.S.H." and potentially secure another $2,500. There will also be door prizes.
Entry fees are set at $100 for an individual player and $400 for a foursome, with a hole-in-one prize of $10,000. A Jambalaya lunch break is scheduled at noon. The tournament also offers the option to purchase up to two mulligans for $5 each, allowing players a second chance swing.
