Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – Foley is gearing up for the 20th Annual Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival, set to take place from May 2 to 4, 2024. This year's festival will be once again hosted at OWA Parks & Resort. This is the fourth consecutive year OWA has hosted the event.

The festival will feature various arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and activities for children. Attendees can look forward to experiencing tethered hot air balloon rides and in the evenings, balloon glows, as well as live performances at the OWA Amphitheater.

The music lineup includes the Tri-City Saviors on Thursday, followed by The Funky Lampshades, Erin Michael Taylor, and Southbound 75 on Friday. Saturday's performances will feature Ryan Dyer, Hannah Anders, and Drive! Drive!.

Once again the Disc-Connected K9 dog show will present eight shows throughout the weekend. The festival will also offer merchandise featuring the artwork of Tara McMeans, the winner of this year's poster design contest. McMeans, a local artist and entrepreneur, created a design that highlights Foley and the OWA venue through hot air balloon imagery.

The festival will be open from 4-9 PM on Thursday, and from 11 AM to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday. The event is sponsored by Island House Hotel and BMW.

Keep in mind that hot air balloon activities are very dependent on good weather conditions.
