Relative Held After Foley Stabbing

Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – The Foley Police Department released a statement about a homicide investigation that began last night (March 24, 2024). The incident, which involved a stabbing, occurred on the 400 block of Park Avenue at approximately 11 p.m. This is the second stabbing to take place in Foley this past weekend. (Related article)

According to the police media release, the victim sustained a stab wound and later succumbed to the injuries after being transported to South Baldwin Hospital. The efforts of paramedics who attended to the victim were unable to save the victim.

A relative of the deceased has been taken into custody. The police are assuring the public that there is no ongoing threat related to this incident. As this is an active investigation, law enforcement officials are restrained in the information they can release and have committed to providing updates when possible.
