Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Don’t let this weekend’s wet weather along the Gulf Coast spoil your holiday merriment. While things like Foley’s Let It Snow event and the Foley Christmas parade have been canceled for today, they’re being rescheduled for next weekend and promise to be a wonderful time for all.
As for the next few days, there are still plenty of places to go and things to do. Here’s a small sampling to give you some ideas, so grab an umbrella and go enjoy these favorite local spots over the weekend.

All skaters are required to complete a waiver before skating, so be sure to sign one online before you arrive to save time in line.
Stop by for an afternoon of football, delicious food, and great company at one of the area’s most popular destinations for locals and tourists alike—except this weekend, you can expect more locals and fewer tourists.
SHOPPING AT GULF SHORES AND ORANGE BEACH STORES
With so many different stores offering fashion finds and unique gifts, local shopping in our area is the perfect way to spend a rainy day. Why wait to do last-minute shopping when you can take care of it this weekend?
From smoked bacon waffle bites to their eggcellent toast points, brunch at Blues Burger proves there’s more to their name than burgers. It’s a delicious way to spend a rainy morning drinking coffee and planning the rest of your day.
