Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The 33rd Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival and MAAAC Car Show is set for Saturday, February 22, 2025, at The Wharf in Orange Beach. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring seafood vendors, arts and crafts, a Kids Zone, and live entertainment.
Organized by the Makos Academics, Arts, and Athletics Club (MAAAC) with support from the City of Orange Beach, the festival raises funds for Orange Beach City Schools. The car show is presented by Rita’s Italian Ice & Custard, while Beachball Properties sponsors the Kids Zone.
Early registration for the car show begins November 20, 2024, for $75, granting priority parking on Main Street. Day-of registration is $100 if spaces remain. Details on prizes will be announced on MAAAC’s Facebook and website,
www.obmaaac.org.
Festival highlights include a crawfish and shrimp boil, with all proceeds benefiting the school system, and a beer tent supporting Orange Beach City Schools. OBMHS students will collect donations for parking to aid the Athletics Program.
Last year, over 24,000 attendees enjoyed the event. MAAAC President Matt Fetner expressed excitement about expanding this year’s festival with new prizes for car show participants and more Kids Zone options.
