This is your chance to board on a nostalgic journey through the decades with their exciting new Monday Movie Night event. Starting this Monday, join in on the fun as the big screen transports you back in time with classic films. Each week, from the dazzling '40s right up to today, The Hangout will be showcasing iconic movies from 5-7 PM. What’s more, the fun doesn’t stop at just watching—bring your friends for a thrilling guessing game about what film will be revealed next week. This notion will be exemplified in the City of Gulf Shores's upcoming and last feature for this season's Winter Concert Series, "Forever Motown." This ensemble showcases emblematic Motown acts from the 1960s and 1970s, providing a retrospective on the genre's significant cultural impact. Tickets for this event are currently available for purchase online as well as at the Gulf Shores City Store. Attendees can expect an engaging evening that will highlight the quintessential sound of an era, showcasing tracks that have maintained their popularity over the decades. Expect to hear classic hits such as "I Heard It Through the Grapevine," "Stop! In The Name of Love," and other seminal Motown tracks that have become ingrained in the fabric of American music. Wednesday, February 19th -
CoastAL in Orange Beach has quickly established itself as a top restaurant and venue along the Gulf Coast since its opening in December 2022. Patrons were eager to experience this highly anticipated beachfront dining destination. Now entering its third high-volume visitor season, CoastAL continues to exude the charm it had at the outset. The venue is filled with a mix of island visitors and locals, whether they are enjoying crab dip, gumbo bites, or Asian tuna salad for lunch; savoring a juicy rib eye paired with a bottle of red wine for a romantic date night; or indulging in a veggie grain bowl while brunching with friends. CoastAL's menu offers something delightful for everyone, any day or night of the week. From 5 PM to 7 PM this Wednesday, the Perdido Key Chamber of Commerce invites members and prospective members to their monthly Business After Hours gathering at CoastAL. Talented chefs will prepare complimentary light hors d'oeuvres, and additional menu items will be available for individual parties. Thursday, February 20th -
The Learning Campus will offer a variety of engaging classes as part of the Eco-Art Series at specific times on Thursdays and Fridays in February. As a component of the renowned Alabama Gulf State Park, the Learning Campus draws visitors from far and wide in search of adventure. The park is known for its award-winning trails, providing numerous picnic areas and resting spots with breathtaking views. Both locals and visitors, including campers, enjoy kayaking and canoeing on Lake Shelby while soaking in the beautiful surroundings or biking along the trails. The Nature Center and the Learning Campus, where additional classes and adventures are available, are conveniently located just off the beach. There are plenty of ways to explore the park, so whether you experience everything in one go or visit a little each day, Gulf State Park is abundant with fun, learning, and more. The City of Orange Beach proudly presents the 33rd Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival and MAAAC Car Show from 10AM to 4PM. For one day only at the Wharf, a day you won't want to miss. Indulge in various fresh seafood dishes, including shrimp, fish tacos, and in proper parade season form, seafood gumbo. The day will feature delicious seafood-inspired dishes, shopping vendors, and more. Explore over 100 unique booths featuring handmade jewelry and local art while enjoying live music that keeps the energy high for the whole family. Kids can wind up or down in the Kids' Zone with face painting, crafts, and interactive games. You can’t miss the car show displaying antique, classic, and hot rod vehicles, where enthusiasts will share stories about their cars with passerbys who care to listen. The Fort Morgan Oyster Fest, happening this Saturday and Sunday at The Beach Club Resort & Spa, promises a full day of delicious seafood, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
