College Football Playoffs

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Many college football fans along the coast are waiting for November 9th's matchup like it is a playoff game. This season, the highly anticipated matchup of Alabama versus LSU may decide if either team can make the new 12 team championship series. Both teams have a bye this week, giving them time to prepare and scheme for the game in Baton Rouge.

According to SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum, this game will more than likely eliminate one team from playoff contention.

The Crimson Tide, coming off a strong win against Missouri, have gained confidence heading into their bye week. Meanwhile, LSU’s recent loss to Texas A&M has shifted the narrative. Finebaum favored LSU against Alabama prior to the Tigers’ collapse in the second half against Texas A&M.

The No. 14 Alabama and No. 16 LSU will square off in Baton Rouge in just under two weeks for a game with enormous postseason implications. The game will kickoff in the prime-time slot at 6:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 9 and will air on ABC, the SEC announced on Monday.

SEC Teams that begin with "T"  (Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M) are all ranked higher and have a better chance of making the playoffs, but LSU and the Crimson Tide have a long tradition of NCAA championships. Not to mention, many local fans along the coast.

With so much on the line, you should prepare to watch the game "On The Line."
Flora-Bama Ole River Grill will have a special game day menu and over 30 TVs for the event. A full list of local sports bars is below.
