Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Expect Excellence Music Department will present "Dream On: A Tribute to Classic Rock" at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center for a return performance from June 27-29. The show will feature hits from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, highlighting bands like AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, and Aerosmith.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on June 27 and 28, and 2 p.m. on June 29. Tickets are $15 and available for general admission. Doors open one hour before each show.
The tribute has become a popular event, prompting the addition of a summer show due to last year’s success. This year’s concert will showcase 40 performers from various age groups, from third-graders to adults in their 50s. Rehearsals started in April, with the cast working hard to deliver an energetic and memorable performance.
Jessica Langston, the Creative Director of Orange Beach, noted the community’s strong connection to classic rock. Music Director Caleb Pittman emphasized the excitement of performing these iconic songs live, acknowledging the thrill and pressure it brings.
