Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Orange Beach Wind & Water Learning Center will host the final Full Moon Paddle of the summer is less than two weeks away. Dinner for this event will be hosted by Alabama Coastal Catering of Orange Beach and live music will be performed by Ben Lake.
The last full-moon paddle of 2024 takes place on Sunday, August 18th, starting at 6:15pm. The guided paddle will take about 1 and ½ hours and will go across Wolf Bay to watch the sunset and the full moon rise. Kayaks will launch beginning at 7 p.m.
Whether you're an experienced, or a novice kayaker, this event is always fun and rewarding. The registration fee is $35, with all proceeds benefiting the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center.
Participants must pre-register by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 16, via
Eventbrite or by submitting forms at
Orange Beach City Hall. Attendees are required to bring their own kayak, life jacket, and white light.
The event will be held at the Wind & Water Learning Center located at 26267 Canal Road, Orange Beach.
