Gulf Shores Vision 2035

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – Gulf Shores is shaping its future with Vision 2035, a comprehensive roadmap designed to guide the city’s growth and development over the next decade. Building on feedback from the recent in-person kick-off meeting, residents now have the opportunity to contribute their ideas and priorities through an online engagement process.

This initiative focuses on key areas such as public safety, environmental resilience, planned growth, and preserving the city’s small-town culture, ensuring that community input plays a pivotal role in shaping Gulf Shores’ vision for the future.

Vision 2035 is actively in development as the city is developing a roadmap for the future of Gulf Shores. If you didn't make it to the in-person meeting, there's still time to make your mark on the Gulf Shores’ community's future.

City leaders are gathering feedback from residents on key areas of focus that the city is looking to enhance over the next decade. As a Gulf Shores citizen, your perspective will directly influence the next phase of the process.

Areas of focus include:

  • Small Town Culture
  • Public Safety
  • Health & Wellness
  • Environmental Resilience
  • Lifelong Learning
  • Planned Growth
  • Diverse & Vibrant Economy

How to Participate:

  1. Visit www.gulfshoresal.gov/Vision2035
  2. Click on each idea board for each area of focus and share your ideas, or vote for a similar idea already shared.
  3. Share this with your fellow residents!

This portion of online engagement will close on January 15. At that point, we will take the input we have received and send out more information on additional in-person and online engagement opportunities.
