Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The city of Orange Beach is hosting a blood drive in partnership with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers. Scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2024, this vital community event will take place at the Orange Beach City Hall, located at 4099 Orange Beach Blvd. The LifeSouth Bloodmobile will be on site from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to facilitate the donations.
This event is an excellent opportunity for residents and visitors to contribute to a life-saving cause. All blood donors will receive a $20 e-gift card as a token of appreciation. Additionally, each donor will benefit from a recognition item and a complimentary cholesterol screening, contributing to their personal health awareness.
Participants must be at least 16 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. Donors under the age of 18 will require parental permission. A valid photo ID is also necessary to participate.
