Multiple subdivisions up for approval at Foley Planning Commission meeting

Foley Planning Commission to discuss key community projects

Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – The Foley Planning Commission will have a work session on Sept. 13 and a regular session on Sept. 20 with both meetings at 4 p.m. at city hall in council chambers.
The commission will consider a request for a favorable recommendation from the commission to the mayor and council for these projects:
- Symbol Health Building
- County Road 20 extension
- Farmer’s Market commercial kitchen and leased space
- Expansion of the civic center
- Graham Creek Pavilion
- Graham Creek Nature Preserve restrooms and pavilion
- Wolf Creek Park shore line project, Max Griffin Park upgrade
- Wilson/Arena Road
- South Pilgrim Street extension
- Beck Road
During the meetings, the commission will also:
- Hear a request for a minor subdivision of in the Pecan Subdivision to subdivide 1.71 acres into four lots. The property is located in the northeast corner of South Pecan Street and East Bullard Avenue and staff will recommend approval.
- Consider a request from David Green for a one-year site plan extension for a duplex located south of Begonia Avenue and west of Cedar Street. Staff will recommend approval of the request.
- Hear a request for a one-year preliminary extension for the Grasslands Subdivision located east of County Road 65 and south of Dairy Lane. Staff recommends approval of the request.
- Hear a request for a preliminary one-year extension for the Rosewood Subdivision for phases two and three located east of County Road 65 and north of Arbor Walk Subdivision. Staff will recommend approval of the request.
