Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Orange Beach Billfish Classic, originally slated to begin this weekend, has been rescheduled due to an unfavorable weather forecast. The annual fishing tournament will now see boats departing on Monday, May 20th at noon, with activities concluding on Wednesday, May 22nd.
If you’d like to see a big boat parade, be at Perdido Pass on Monday at about 10:30am.
Registration for the event will occur on Saturday, May 18, from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, allowing participants to finalize their preparations. The shotgun start, marking the official commencement of fishing, is set for noon at just south of Perdido Pass.
Weigh-ins are scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and again on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, both at Marlin Circle at the Wharf.
