Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – Foley police say evidence from a double homicide scene continues to point to a murder/suicide in the early morning hours of Nov. 12.
According to a release from police on Nov. 14, the dead men have been identified as Isaac Thompson, 22, and Jeremiah Booker, 20, both of Foley.
The pair “went out together with a female acquaintance the night of the shooting and returned to Camellia Garden Apartments in Foley in the early morning hours,” the release states. “The woman and Mr. Thompson previously shared an apartment at this location until recently. While there, an argument ensued between the female and Thompson. Mr. Booker was believed to be asleep in the van during this time. The evidence collected so far indicates that Thompson shot Booker in the van and then shot himself in the breezeway of the apartment complex.”
The woman told police she was not a witness to either shooting and was inside when shots were fired. Baldwin County Sheriff's Department crime scene investigators assisted in the case.
