Graham Creek Nature Preserve Creek Crawl

Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – Graham Creek Nature Preserve just announced the return of its annual Creek Crawl on May 11th. This 4-mile obstacle course is designed to test participants' physical limits. Ages 10 and above can participate in this event.

The course spans 400 acres and features 20 challenging obstacles. Expect to get a bit muddy as you tackle trails filled with surprises. There’s even a 25-yard water challenge towards the end, but if that's not for you, there’s an alternative half-mile route.

The first 125 participants will receive a special race shirt. All racers are provided with water, and adults over 21 can enjoy a beer with a valid ID. A meal and music from a DJ will follow the race. Top male and female racers will earn awards, with all proceeds supporting the Graham Creek Nature Preserve's educational programs.

Packet pickup is available on May 10th at the Graham Creek Interpretive Center. Race day pickup starts at 7 AM, but Friday pickup is recommended to avoid delays. Races kick off at 8:10 AM, with heats of up to 50 racers every 10 minutes. Participants must run in their registered heat and are advised to arrive early for instructions.

Free parking, food, and drink tickets redeemable from 9 AM, and awards at 10 AM. Outside alcohol is not allowed, and lockers are unavailable, but there are showers and hoses for cleanup post-race.
