NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship Set to Take Over Gulf Shores' Beaches

Gulf Shores Welcomes the 2023 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship

Gulf Shores, Ala. - (OBA) - The City of Gulf Shores is preparing to host the prestigious 2023 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship on its stunning white-sand beaches. Teams from across the nation will gather to compete in this highly anticipated event.


Public parking at Gulf Place, located directly south of The Hangout restaurant, will be closed to vehicle traffic starting Thursday, April 27, to allow for tournament setup. However, the Gulf Place Public Beach will remain open for public use until Wednesday, May 3. From May 3, the area will transform into a ticketed venue for the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship. Gulf Place public parking and beach access are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, May 10.


Visitors can still access all other beach entrances and parking areas during this time. Tickets for the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship can be purchased at https://on.ncaa.com/621roh.

Camp Under the Stars on the Beach at the Gulf Shores State Park

Gulf Shores, Ala. – (OBA) – Gulf State Park invites families to the Spring Beach Campout. The cost is $45 per tent for up to four people, with additional guests at $5 each. A parking pass is included. This family-friendly event is open to adults and children of all ages. Participants under 18 must have a responsible adult with them. Families should bring their own food, nonalcoholic beverages, and camping essentials. All drinks must be in non-glass containers.
American Red Cross Hosts Blood Drive at Orange Beach City Hall

The City of Foley is Rebuilding its Urban Tree Canopy
