Orange Beach Announces Summer Paddles to Benefit Children's Charity

Enjoy Dinner, Music, and Kayaking Under the Full Moon in Orange Beach
Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The City of Orange Beach is bringing back its popular Full Moon Paddle series this summer! The events will be held at the Wind & Water Learning Center, located behind the Orange Beach Public Library.
Participants can enjoy an evening under the stars with dinner from a local restaurant, live music, and a guided kayak tour on Wolf Bay.
Here are the dates to remember:
- Saturday, June 22nd: Dinner by Alabama Coastal Catering
- Sunday, July 21st: Dinner by Tacky Jacks with entertainment by Rachel Lane
- Sunday, August 18th: Dinner by Alabama Coastal Catering with entertainment by Ben Lake
Registration is $35 per person and includes dinner and the paddle tour. Attendees must bring their own kayak, life jacket, and white light (headlamps recommended). A limited number of kayaks are available to rent from the venue for an additional fee, with reservations required in advance.
All proceeds from the Full Moon Paddles benefit the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center. Anyone can donate to support this worthy cause.

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Alabama's 14th annual Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday is set for Friday, February 21, through Sunday, February 23, 2025. During this period, residents can purchase essential severe weather preparedness items without paying the state's 4% sales tax. In some areas, local taxes will also be waived, allowing shoppers to save up to 10% on eligible items.
