Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Orange Beach Garden Club is preparing for its 37th Annual Game Day and Salad Luncheon, scheduled for February 12, 2025, at the Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf. The theme of this year’s event is, “Let us tell you ‘bout The Birds and the Bees”.

Co-chaired by Annette Mitchell and Yo Johnson, the Game Day Committee has been working

to organize this year’s event. Whether you’re a fan of card games, dominoes, or other tabletop favorites, there are games for everyone. 

Doors will open at 9:30 a.m., with games starting at 10:00 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite table games and friends, or join others to make new connections. Raffle tickets will be available at the door. 

Tickets, priced at $35, include lunch and must be purchased in advance. They can be bought at the Orange Beach Senior Adult Center on Canal Road or at The Emporium at C in the Orange Beach Rouses shopping center on Perdido Beach Blvd. Participants will also have the chance to win door prizes and enter to win 22 deluxe gift baskets. 

The event supports the Garden Club's community projects, such as:

• Arbor Day celebrations
•  Scholarships for local students
•  The Butterfly Garden on the Hugh Branyon Trail
•  The Light Up Orange Beach Christmas decoration contest
•  Other horticultural and community initiatives
