Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – The Orange Beach Police Department, responding to a sexual assault report, arrested Christopher Russihi Strachan on January 26, 2024, on charges of first-degree rape. The arrest followed a thorough investigation into an incident reported by an adult female victim on January 17, 2024, in the 24000 block of Gulf Bay Road in Orange Beach.
According to the Orange Beach Police Department, the victim's detailed report and the collaborative efforts of local agencies were pivotal in identifying Mr. Strachan as the suspect. The arrest occurred nine days after the initial report was filed.
