Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Orange Beach City Schools just announced that fifteen talented student musicians have been selected to perform live on stage with the iconic rock band Foreigner during their farewell tour. The event will take place on August 16th, 2024, at during the Foreigner concert at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Styx will also be performing that night at the Wharf. 

The students showcased their musical abilities by submitting audition videos, and their exceptional talents earned them the privilege to join Foreigner on stage. The selection of Orange Beach Middle-High School students to perform with Foreigner is a testament to the remarkable musical abilities of the students and it showcases the school's dedication to nurturing artistic talent.

In recognition of their accomplishment, Orange Beach Middle-High School's Theater Department will receive a $500 donation from Foreigner for their participation. This contribution will further support the school's initiatives to provide students with enriching opportunities in the performing arts.

Foreigner is a 2024 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
