Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Gulf State Park is set to reopen the newly renovated Romar Public Beach Access in Orange Beach today, Friday, February 23rd. Visitors will be treated to new amenities, including an expanded parking lot, restrooms, and a boardwalk featuring a rinse-off area. The standard Gulf State Park beach parking fee of $10 per day will remain in effect.
UPDATED: Meanwhile, the Cotton Bayou Beach Access will be temporarily closed March 1st-5th, for parking lot maintenance. The work involves sealing and re-striping the lot for better efficiency.
Beachgoers are encouraged to visit the freshly reopened Romar Beach Access instead. Other options include Alabama Point East and Shell Beach lots, which will remain open.
